Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Summit Offroad, we aim to provide quality products and clear information to help you purchase with confidence. This Refunds & Exchanges Policy explains when refunds or exchanges may be available.


Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. This includes incorrect ordering, change in vehicle plans, or no longer requiring the product.

Please ensure product suitability and vehicle fitment before placing your order. If you are unsure, contact us prior to purchase and we are happy to assist.


Faulty or Defective Products

If a product is faulty due to a manufacturing defect, you may be eligible for a remedy under the manufacturer’s warranty and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).

Where a fault is confirmed, we will, in line with the manufacturer’s warranty and applicable law:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product

  • Provide a refund or store credit

Proof of purchase is required.


Exchanges

Exchanges may be considered only if:

  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

  • The request is made within 14 days of purchase

  • The product is suitable for resale

All exchange requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty.


Installed or Used Products

Products that have been installed, modified, or used are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless the product is proven to have a manufacturing defect.


Incorrect Fitment

Summit Offroad is not responsible for incorrect fitment due to:

  • Customer error when ordering

  • Modifications to the vehicle

  • Variations between vehicle models or trims

If you are unsure about fitment, please contact us before purchasing.


Return Process

To request a return or exchange, please contact us with:

  • Proof of purchase

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos where applicable

Returns must be approved before being sent back. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.


Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).
