Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy
Summit Offroad supplies products that are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty only. This warranty applies strictly to manufacturing defects under normal use and handling.
Manufacturer’s Warranty Coverage
All products supplied by Summit Offroad are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
This warranty covers:
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
Faults that occur under normal use
Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, the manufacturer may, at their discretion:
Repair the product
Replace the product
Provide a refund or credit
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
What Is Not Covered
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by incorrect installation
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident or abuse
Damage caused by off-road use, competition use or environmental conditions
Normal wear and tear
Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
Damage resulting from improper maintenance or use outside the product’s intended purpose
Installation Disclaimer
Where Summit Offroad offers installation services, installation workmanship is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Installation-related concerns are assessed separately on a case-by-case basis.
Warranty Claims Process
To make a manufacturer’s warranty claim, please contact Summit Offroad with:
Proof of purchase
A description of the issue
Photos or videos of the defect
We will assess the claim and liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf where applicable.
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).
